Instructor Policies | No late work will be accepted in this class unless the student presents proof of extenuating circumstances. Students may email me at anytime at stileslc@lamarpa.edu and I will respond as quickly as possible. All grades will be available on Blackboard. ATTENDANCE IS IMPORTANT as we work on and complete all the projects in class. | ||||||||
Attendance Policy | PLEASE BE ON TIME. Attendance will be taken at the start of each class. Students arriving 15 minutes or more after start of class or leaving early will be considered late. You get one 'free' absence before your lates/absences start to count against your grade in the attendance category. After that, EACH UNEXCUSED ABSENCE DEDUCTS 10% OF YOUR ATTENDANCE GRADE. If you are late for class or leave class early 3 times you will receive an additional absence every instance this occurs. 3 lates = 1 unexcused absence. **Excused absences will be considered on a case by case basis. YOU MUST E-MAIL YOUR INSTRUCTOR BEFORE YOU MISS CLASS with an explanation of why you will be absent. The date and time of the e-mail will be considered.
